FSU football faces a tough schedule this year, and there are many questions to be answered heading into the season. It all starts with the first four games of the season, which could prove to be a challenging stretch of games.

     A huge question heading into the season is Mike Norvell and whether he will do enough to keep his job. Since the 2023 season, FSU football appears to be on a downhill slope, and Norvell is on the hot seat.

     “Fire him right now,” said Cash Rackley.

     FSU football faces ranked teams SMU and Alabama early in the season. A huge question heading into the season is if FSU can beat these ranked teams.

     “Alabama is the worst team I’ve ever seen,” and “We’ll win,” Rackley said.

     Another big question is who is going to be the biggest impact players for FSU football this season. Will it be returning stars, upcoming players, or both?

     “Players should not be plural, and Duce Robinson is the only player worth anything on that team, and Micahi Danzy,” Rackley said.

    Florida State football is widely expected to go 6-6 this year, but not everyone agrees with that prediction. FSU faces several tough teams this season, including ranked opponents SMU, Alabama, Louisville and Miami, which is ranked No. 7 in the nation. The Seminoles also face other challenging opponents, including a Virginia team that looked strong in Week 1, Clemson and rival Florida.

     “Virginia played a very good game this weekend; unfortunately, we did not,” Rackley said. Rackley also predicted the Seminoles will go 5-7 this season, with one of those wins being against FSU’s rival, UF.

     FSU football’s tough schedule, including four games against ranked teams throughout the first half of the season, will set the pace for the rest of the season. FSU’s early-season performance could likely be the decider on the Mike Norvell situation. The performance of players such as Deuce Robinson and Micahi Danzy will likely be crucial if FSU looks to have a bounce-back year.
