Tallahassee firefighters join fight against western wildfires
Alligator Alcatraz, a state-run immigration detention facility in the Everglades, cost an estimated $450 million annually to operate and was designed to house up to 3,000 people. Recently, the only people wearing lanyards on campus have been teachers who use it as their employee IDs. Starting in the 2026-2027 school year, students will be required to wear IDs as well.
